The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), through SamCERT, officially launched Samoa Cyber SMART Week 2023, bringing together key stakeholders to promote cybersecurity awareness, online safety and digital resilience across Samoa.

The official opening marked the beginning of a week of cybersecurity awareness activities aimed at strengthening knowledge of emerging cyber threats and encouraging individuals, organisations and communities to adopt safer practices when using digital technologies.

Cybersecurity Week reflects SamCERT’s ongoing commitment to building a safer, more secure and cyber-resilient Samoa through awareness, collaboration and community engagement.
