What happens after you report

You can report a suspected incident even if you do not have every detail. SamCERT will review your report and use the contact details you provide if more information is needed.

  1. Tell us what happened and what may be affected.
  2. Add supporting evidence if it is safe to do so.
  3. Submit the report and SamCERT will contact you if follow-up is required.
Contact details
Leave blank if you are reporting as an individual.
Incident details
Include key details such as suspicious messages, links, files, accounts, websites, or systems if known.
For example: changed passwords, disconnected a device, contacted your bank, restored backups, or blocked an email.
Upload screenshots, suspicious email files, text logs, or PDF documents. Do not open or run a suspicious file in order to upload it.

Maximum 3 files.
2 MB limit.
Allowed types: jpg jpeg png pdf txt log eml.
Your report is handled confidentially.

The information you provide is used to assess and respond to this incident. Only include information relevant to the report.
